Explanation Of Technical Difficulty In Making GMT Ceramic Bezel

After a thorough investigation, we have determined that the only other brand to incorporate a red and blue ceramic bezel into their range of watches is “RLX”. This makes this particular bezel colour variation very rare.

Every brand has their own design concept and ours is one of quality and perfection so it was vital to us that we maintained these standards and offer every GMT watch with a ceramic bezel insert. We firmly believe ceramic bezels are stronger and more appealing than the aluminium alternatives.

In order to achieve the perfect results, we have spent 6 months perfecting the techniques required to produce these red and blue bezel inserts.

The difficulties exist because the materials used to produce the red and blue halves of the bezel insert require vastly different temperatures. Usually the difference in temperatures required for each half of the bezel insert is 10 degrees Celsius. For the red and blue halves, the difference in temperatures required at the finishing stages is 200 degrees Celsius and overcoming this was our greatest challenge.
